I found the doctor to be totally professional and helpful. He listened to what I had to say and I felt he really understood and took notice of my previous symptoms/diagnosis. He gave me reassurance and explained the next steps in my treatment.

My GP refered me to Paul Worth in 2008, who diagnosed early Parkinson's. For the next four years he was my guide and mentor, carefully explaining the way ahead and the slowly increasing medication. I was very sorry but not surprised when he moved to Cambridge in about 2011. For the next four years I continued to attend the Neurology clinics at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. They were, as far as I was concerned excellent, but lacked the essential continuity of seeing the same familiar and trusted friend on each occasion . As a result I started to see Paul Worth privately on an annual basis in 2017, whilst maintaining my link with the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital . This has proved to be the perfect solution, particularly as I can see him at short notice.

Dr Worth saw my mother who had been diagnosed in 2017 with Parkinson’s. She is an elderly lady (83) and was very nervous about seeing him but he could not have been more reassuring and kind in his approach towards her. He was very through in his examination and when he had to tell her that she did not have Parkinson’s but in fact dementia he did it in a most thoughtful and considerate way. I would have no hesitation about recommending him to anyone but particularly someone with an elderly parent or friend. His asssitant Jane is extremely very helpful and thorough.

Dr Worth was searching and thorough in his considerations of my troublesome migraines. He listened carefully to my history, checked for any neurological signs / symptoms, and was understanding regarding my desire to avoid if possible long term prophylactic medication. He made clear logical step wise recommendations as to the optimal way forward for me to follow up with my GP. Dr Worth's follow up letter to my GP, copied to me, was very comprehensive and also very prompt. I was very happy with my consultation. Suggestion to patients....keep a diary of any symptoms for a few weeks so you can be fairly accurate and specific with medical history.

Dr Paul Worth is a compassionate clinician . Obviously he cannot perform miracles. He attempts to make me aware of the path ahead without giving birth to ideas that have no basis in a scientific environment. Managed outcomes is the mantra of 2019.Thank you Dr Worth.
